Started work on the Tail Skid BracketStarted work on the Tail Skid Bracket
There is a handy little throw-a-way template that comes in the kit. This template helps to orient the holes and cutouts on the bracket.
Tapped the hole for the tie down bolt and finished the bracketTapped the hole for the tie down bolt and finished the bracket
This was quite a bit of work. A lot of opportunities to screw this up. I did OK.
Once again the @#$% GoPro ate my pictures...Once again the @#$% GoPro ate my pictures...
I countersunk the bulk doubler and trimmed off the unwanted tips as indicated in the drawing below. I also separated the attach angle brackets.

Separated the shear clips as shown in the drawing, only to find out the ID numbers where reversed on the left side of picture below. The clips in the right side of the drawing are correct.
