Here's what I call blue film therapy. I have a soldering with a rounded tip and a 2 foot ruler that I use to mark the skins with heat, allowing me to neatly pull away the film where the rivet holes are.

After all leaving the blue film on does protect the skin from bad scratches.

This is a great technique using a broom stick that I "borrowed" from Jason Ellis, who is building and RV-19.

I am waiting to "break" some of the edge until a later step. The break allows the sheets lay over each other without curling up.
