Started work on the F-636 shoulder harness anchorsStarted work on the F-636 shoulder harness anchors
This should be easy, just find those puppies, drill 3 holes, deburr, prime and bolt them in (not permanently - hand tight only!). But wait, where the hell are they? I scanned my parts lists and "F-636" was not listed. After a long time of searching I finally found them in a wall tray where I had dumped one of the many bags that come in the kit.
There, all doneThere, all done
The instructions say to not bolt these down yet. So I put the bolts in the holes with the matching washers and nuts and only tightened them by hand.
Time to finish up the F-728 vertical channelTime to finish up the F-728 vertical channel
After final drilling F-728A vertical channel to the F-706 bulkhead, I clecoed the F-728B angle back onto the F728A channel and started riveting it to the channel. This old spar jig came in handy, holding everything for me while I riveted.
Done!Done!
Tomorrow, I will rivet this channel in place, but only after I rivet the baggage ribs to the F-706 bulkhead. The instructions don't mention anything about when to rivet the baggage ribs, so I'm taking a gamble and doing it now.
