Still working on the center bottom skin This center section bottom skin really gives an idea about how big the main cockpit section of the RV-9A is going to be. I have done some comparing between my Cessna 172 and some other RV-9As, and the RV-9A cockpit is wider that my C172. There is also more leg room. Here, I am dimpling the wholes, and dimpling, and dimpling.

The Avery Pop Rivet Dimpler As you have undoubtedly read in my other listings, I am a fanatic about nice dimples. When I start dimpling on any skin, I try both the C Frame dimpler and Averys Pop Rivet Dimplers, and the one that looks the best is the winner. Sometimes the skin is too thick for the Pop Rivet Dimplers, forcing me to use the C Frame Dimpler, followed by the Pop Rivet Dimpler to remove any additional dip in the skin. Yes, it's time consuming to use the Pop Rivet Dimplers but I'm not in a hurry since I can get my aviating fix with my Cessna 172. I want this RV to be a work of art.

Is that a dirty look? As I was working on the Center Section skin when I looked up and saw my tail section gazing at me, like it was saying "Hurry up, Dammit! I want to go flying!".
