Final drilled the F-904H side doublers It took quite a while to drill these side doublers into the F-904 bulkheads, since there weren't any pre-drilled holes in the F-904 bulkheads. I used the F-904H side doublers as a template for drilling.
Time to final drill the bottom skin to the bulkheads This is somewhat of a head scratcher. I decided to final drill and countersink the holes in the skin, as suggested by option #2 in Van's article.
Making notes on the bulkhead These holes will need to countersunk so the rivets will be installed "double flush".
Time for sanding and dimpling I took the center section apart, being careful to mark each part as to where it will go back.
Time for soldering iron therapy Put on the music and relax! This whole plastic removing ritual is probably totally unnecessary, but I still enjoy doing it.
