 Here we go again!
I received my 2 new F-605C bars from Van's after 6 long days of waiting. This time I cut off the outboard of the bars, using the 2 inch measurement to the first bend of the bar as a reference point. Then I redrilled all of the holes, including the F-705H spacer.

The hole that gets drilled in this spacer is not centered in the spacer, but off to one side.

The beveled edge allows the spacer to conform to the bend in the F-705C bar.

 Time to trim the F-705C bars
I waited to trim these guys after they were fitted and drilled to the F-705B main bar. That way I know that everything is lined up just right. I stuck a cleco in one end and marked a sharpie line around it for the cut.

 Done!
There's definitely a difference in the weight of these guys now.
