I final drilled the holes in the stiffeners using the F-904A bulkhead as a guide. The 2 larger holes are the nutplates that will be installed. The holes were drilled with a #19 drill bit.

I located a AN515-8R8 screw and used it to line up the nutplate for drilling the rivet holes.

To prevent the countersink bit from scooting around and messing up the hole in the bulkhead, I clecoed on the F-904M stiffeners from behind with #19 clecos. This forces the countersink bit to stay centered while it spins inside the holes in the F-904M stiffeners.

I decided to back rivet these guys on. I taped my steel plate to the back of the bulkhead and then layed the back of the steel plate and bulkhead on a piece of 3/4" inch plywood, to lift the whole bulkhead off the work bench. Worked like a charm.
Looking good!Looking good!
Time to screw on the F-982B supports.
Almost doneAlmost done
