My kiddo came to the rescue and helped me rivet the skins together. He used the rivet gun with the mushroom head on the skin side while I bucked from behind. I have to say that I see little difference between backriveting and the old fashion mushroom head and back bucking bar. One thing that really helps is the swivel flush rivet set that I use. The swiveling face of this rivet set keeps the mushroom head flush against the head of the rivet even if I'm a little off angle.

I was told by some builders to roll some of the edges of the wing skins before riveting. I haven't roll any edges so far and everything is laying down perfectly. Proof is in the pudding. Hopefully tomorrow we can rivet in the horizontal "J" stringer and this puppy will be ready to put on the wing cradle.
