I didn’t have one of those fancy wire twisters, so I used my electrical pliers to twist and tie this dude down. What you see here is my second (and successful) attempt. I feel really lucky that the Mandatory Service Bulletin came out before I started on the tank.

I just had to put the access plate on temporarily to see what it looks like.

I roughed the surfaces on the baffle where it meets the ribs and skin. I also put blue painters tape over the outer edge of the skin where it will get screwed to the wing spar. That will stop Proseal from going where it shouldn’t. I’m going to have to get on the stick and order Van’s tank leak test kit. It will be so nice to finish this dude and get back to the wing.
