Finished riveting the J Stringer onto the right wingFinished riveting the J Stringer onto the right wing
After my riveting buddy finished riveting on the J Stringer, we loaded to the right wing on to the wing cradle. Sure feels great to get this done.
Here are my backriveting toolsHere are my backriveting tools
I used the regular back riveting to tool to rivet the J Stringer to the skins while my buddy Norwood bucked the rivets from the front. For the rivets that were lined up with the ribs, I used my long backriveting tool to get a straight shot on the rivets.
Time to take down the wing standTime to take down the wing stand
This may take some time since I liquid nailed the wing stand to the floor. I got tired of it scooting around the garage floor while I was working on it.
