Deburred, dimpled and sanded the J StringersDeburred, dimpled and sanded the J Stringers
The "J" stringers go behind the top skins of the wings and run through the middle of each rib. They provide stability to the lateral middle section of each skin.

The instructions say to enlarge a pre-punched rivet hole in the left W-901 leading edge skin and the left main spar flange to 7/16". I carefully counted the rivet holes from left to right on the plans to identify which hole to enlarge. I have to admit I checked it about five times to make sure I had the right hole to drill out. Then I went over to my drill set and found that the standard drill set doesn't have a 7/16" drill bit. So I went to Lowes (aircraft and lumber supply) and bought a 7 dollar 7/16" drill bit. Next comes the dimpling of the ribs and the countersinking of the spar.
