Finished riveting in the front HS-905 nose ribs into the right HS skinFinished riveting in the front HS-905 nose ribs into the right HS skin
This middle front rib was not easy to rivet in. I laid the the right Horizontal Stabilizer skin over on its side while still in the wooden cradles. My dad held the skin so it wouldn't move while I riveted the ribs in using my mushroom head rivet gun and bucking bar. I started from the front and worked my way back. I put riveting tape over each rivet head for 2 reasons. One to hold the rivet in place, and the other to prevent scratching the skin. Who knows, maybe I might leave the aluminum unpainted and just buff it up. Anyway, I want to have the option to do so.

I read the instructions good and hard to make damn sure I selected the correct middle ribs to be riveted to the front spar. Basically you select the middle ribs that don't have a front rib in front of it. The instructions say don't rivet in a middle rib that has an "associated" front rib. This can be confusing since the outer rib front rib is offset and doesn't rivet to the middle rib, but is "associated" by position.
