Started on the holes for the aileron pushrodsStarted on the holes for the aileron pushrods
The rear spar already has the hole for the aileron pushrods, I just have to match drill the reinforcement plate. I used my Unibit to remove a large portion of the area on the W-907D reinforcement plate.

I used my Dremel tool with a small round sanding head in the cable extension of the Dremel to finish the edges of the hole to match the rear spar.

I clecoed the W-907B reinforcement fork and the W-907C rear spar doubler plate to the W-907A spar channel and drilled the rivet holes to a #30.

According to the instructions, the flange holes in the rear spar would be difficult to dimple when the reinforcement plates are in the way. I also countersunk some of the holes in the W-907C reinforcement plate. Luckily there is a picture of this in the instructions showing which holes get countersunk.

I used a scotchbrite pad to rough up all the parts to prepare them for the old rattle can primer tomorrow. UPDATE: I found out later that I didn't need to rough up these parts for priming. All that needs to be done is smoothing the outside edges on the scotchbrite wheel. Then rub everything done with laquer thinner before priming.
