Here's the primer I used
I found this Self Etching Primer on the Sherwin-Williams website. It's not sold at regular Sherwin-WIlliams paint stores, only their website and their auto paint stores. Van's says that if you use a blue sharpie pen to mark your parts, the writing will bleed through the primer, and sure enough it did!
